If it develops into a tropical storm, it will take the name Issac.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/app\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>DOWNLOAD THE FREE FOX WEATHER APP<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/Area%20to%20Watch%202.png?v3\"\/><figcaption>A look at the latest odds of development for Invest 98L in the Atlantic.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\">Invest 99L monitored for development in central Atlantic<\/h2>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The NHC said a non-tropical area of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/why-is-atmospheric-pressure-so-important-to-the-forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">low pressure<\/a>, which it dubbed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/what-is-invest-tropical-hurricane-season\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Invest<\/a> 99L, is currently located several hundred miles to the northeast of Bermuda.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;Earlier satellite-wind data indicated the system was producing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/wind\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winds<\/a> up to storm-force, and environmental conditions could support some subtropical or tropical development over the next several days as the system moves generally eastward, remaining over the open waters of central subtropical Atlantic,&#8221; the agency said in its latest outlook.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Right now, the NHC has raised the odds a bit, giving the system a medium chance of development.<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/Area%20to%20Watch.png?v3\"\/><figcaption>A look at the latest odds of development for Invest 99L in the Atlantic.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\">Florida on hurricane alert as Hurricane Helene spins closer<\/h2>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/tracking-hurricane-helene-florida-southeast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hurricane Helene<\/a> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/weather-news\/tracking-hurricane-helene-florida-southeast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">continuing to gain strength<\/a> as it approaches <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/florida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida<\/a>.
