Hardware leaker Kopite7kimi has <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/kopite7kimi\/status\/1839343725727941060\">published rumored specifications<\/a> for the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 today, and both cards will reportedly be more power-hungry as Nvidia looks to debut more capable next-gen GPUs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">The RTX 5090 is said to have a 600-watt spec, although as <a href=\"https:\/\/videocardz.com\/newz\/nvidia-geforce-rtx-5090-and-rtx-5080-specs-leaked\"><em>VideoCardz <\/em>points out<\/a> it\u2019s not clear if this refers to how much the entire GPU board draws, or how much power the chip itself consumes. Either way, it looks like the RTX 5090 will draw 150 watts more than the 450 watts that the RTX 4090 pulls. Kopite7kimi previously revealed the specifications of the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/kopite7kimi\/status\/1430716119367622660\">RTX 3090<\/a> and RTX 3080 cards ahead of their launch, the launch dates of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/11\/7\/23950348\/nvidia-rtx-4080-4070-super-ces-2024-launch-rumor\">RTX 4070 \/ RTX 4080 Super cards<\/a>, and the return of the 12GB RTX 4080 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/11\/8\/23446875\/nvidia-rtx-4080-12gb-return-rtx-4070-ti-rumor\">as the RTX 4070 Ti<\/a>.
