Millwood\u201d \u2014 a name conspiracy theorists have said is the alias of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur \u2014 on Amazon this month by a man whose real name is Todd Christopher Guzze.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sean-diddy-combs-ex-kim-porter-memoir-book-interview-author-1235106020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to Rolling Stone<\/a>, Guzze \u2014 an \u201cinvestigative producer, author and journalist\u201d who goes by the name Chris Todd\u00a0\u2014 has boasted he has investigated controversial stories about JonBen\u00e9t Ramsey, the Zodiac Killer and Kurt Cobain\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The singer is trying to halt the sale of an alleged Kim Porter memoir.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Porter and Diddy were together off and on from 1994 until 2007, and have three children together. <span class=\"credit\">FilmMagic<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Guzze \u2013 along with Amazon\u2019s Jeff Bezos and CEO Andy Jassy \u2014 were sent the cease-and-desist by Robert J. Hantman, a lawyer for Sure!,\u00a0on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>Sure! is claiming in the letter that he has been \u201cdefamed by false and malicious statements published,\u201d and wants sales halted. <\/p>\n<p>The letter also states, \u201cShould you fail to comply with these demands within ten days, we will have no alternative but to pursue all legal remedies available, including filing a lawsuit for defamation.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The singer\u2019s hits include the 1988 song, \u201cNite and Day.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The cease-and-desist claims the book \u201cfalsely portrays\u201d the singer.  <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The book is currently a best-seller on Amazon, and the letter claims it, \u201cfalsely portrays Mr. Brown as engaging in fabricated sexual conduct, particularly with Sean Combs and the mother of his son, Quincy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter adds: \u201cBy misrepresenting his personal life and fabricating serious, false accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, these defamatory claims have caused significant damage to Mr. Brown\u2019s reputation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sure! tells Page Six,\u00a0\u201cThe part with me, I have nothing to do with any activity of that nature,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s the most disgusting, heinous lie I have ever heard of in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The book was self published on Amazon and the author has admitted he is unsure how much is true. <span class=\"credit\">Sandra Rose\/FilmMagic.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Sure is the biological father of Combs\u2019 adopted son, Quincy. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The letter is demanding that the author stop selling the book, and issue a public apology that, \u201cmust be clear, unequivocal, and widely circulated.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Hantman tells us, \u201cAmazon should be held to a higher standard,\u201d and, \u201cas if a fake memoir is not enough, it is shocking that Jeff Bezos\u2019 Amazon would distribute it without any investigation of its validity or accuracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guzze claimed to Rolling Stone that his sources, \u201chad [Porter\u2019s] flash drive. I didn\u2019t ask too many questions about how they got it [or] where did it come from.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The letter demands the author and Amazon stop selling the book. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Sure! has also raised questions about Porter\u2019s death from pneumonia in 2018. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He also admitted to the publication, \u201cIf somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, \u2018Life or death, is that book real?\u2019 I have to say I don\u2019t know. But it\u2019s real enough to me.\u201d He added, \u201cSometimes you have to just put it out there. Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Porter\u2019s children \u2014 Quincy, Christian \u201cKing\u201d Combs, D\u2019Lila Combs and Jessie Combs \u2014 have also come out against the book saying it contains \u201churtful and false rumors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClaims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves,\u201d they wrote in a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DAUtEAKvUDW\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> social media post.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Sure! tells Page Six of his portrayal in the book,\u00a0\u201cI have nothing to do with any activity of that nature.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Paul Martinka<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Porter\u2019s children have issued a statement claiming their mother did not write a book. <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>An attorney for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/music-news\/al-b-sure-investigation-kim-porter-death-diddy-combs-arrest-1235782456\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Combs told Billboard<\/a>, \u201cThe Kim Porter \u2018memoir\u2019 is fake. It is also offensive \u2013 a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Porter and Sure! were married from 1989 to 1990 and had a son, Quincy, together.<\/p>\n<p>Porter and Combs were off and on from 1994 until 2007, and have three children together. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Diddy has been charged on multiple charges, and pleaded not guilty. <span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Porter <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/11\/15\/kim-porter-mother-of-three-of-diddys-children-dead-at-47\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">died from pneumonia<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Sure! is also asking that an investigation into her death be reopened, telling us, he wants, \u201cJustice for Kimberly Porter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s solve this situation\u00a0with Kimberly Porter,\u201d he told us. \u201cThis wonderful\u00a0human being does not deserve to be deceased. The math is finally matching that she is not just gone by mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Diddy\u2019s homes were raided by Homeland Security. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>A federal investigation claimed that Diddy would host multi-day sex parties called \u201cFreak Offs.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">ZUMAPRESS.com \/ MEGA<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In their collective statement, her children addressed rumors about her cause of death, saying \u201cThe cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The book was published before Combs was arrested and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/17\/celebrity-news\/sean-diddy-combs-charged-with-sex-trafficking-racketeering\/\">charged with<\/a> racketeering and trafficking among other allegations. <\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/17\/celebrity-news\/sean-diddy-combs-pleads-not-guilty-to-racketeering-conspiracy-and-sex-trafficking-charges\/\">pleaded not guilty<\/a>\u00a0to the charges, and\u00a0is being\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/17\/celebrity-news\/sean-diddy-combs-to-be-held-without-bail-after-sex-trafficking-racketeering-arrest\/\">held without bond<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/18\/celebrity-news\/inside-sean-diddy-combs-brooklyn-jail-that-once-held-r-kelly\/\">Metropolitan Detention Center<\/a>\u00a0in Brooklyn, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors allege that <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/26\/us-news\/male-prostitute-turns-in-alleged-videotape-of-diddy-freak-off-to-feds-report\/\">Combs forced victims<\/a> and sex workers to perform in wild so-called\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/09\/17\/us\/video\/sean-diddy-combs-indictment-us-attorney-southern-district-new-york-digvid\">\u201cFreak Offs.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center\u00a0in Brooklyn, NY. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/26\/us-news\/sean-diddy-combs-eager-to-testify-in-own-defense-lawyer\/\">His lawyer has <\/a>fired back, \u201cThese are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do\u2026 we can\u2019t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was, there would be no more people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Combs was sued by his former girlfriend, singer Cassie, who accused him of domestic and sexual abuse.
