While what he showed the coaching staff was &#8220;encouraging,&#8221; according to LaFleur, they were going to be careful not rushing him back. On Thursday, LaFleur told reporters Love would be a game-time decision.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"caas-jump-link-heading\" id=\"success-without-love\">Success without Love<\/h2>\n<p>The Packers won both games without Love and head into Week 4 with a 2-1 record. Backup quarterback Malik Willis excelled taking on the starting job, throwing for 324 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions while completing 73.5% of his passes.<\/p>\n<p>Willis joined the Packers in late August <a data-i13n=\"cpos:7;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/reports-titans-trading-qb-malik-willis-to-packers-212421021.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:via trade from the Titans;cpos:7;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">via trade from the Titans<\/a>.
