Bridges, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/betty-a-bridges-mother-diffrent-strokes-star-todd-bridges-good-times-actress-dead-83-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dying this summer<\/a>, his last words to her were to tell her she could go.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">&#8220;Before she passed away, she was awake a little bit, and I kissed her on the forehead, and I said, \u2018Look, if you want to go see your mom and your grandmother and your brothers, you can go ahead, Mom. Go,\u2019&#8221; the actor, who played Willis Jackson on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/diffrent-strokes-star-todd-bridges-claims-troubled-gary-coleman-exploited-greedy-people\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Diff\u2019rent Strokes,&#8221;<\/a> revealed to People magazine this week. &#8220;\u2018We&#8217;re going to be okay,\u2019 and about a couple hours later, she was gone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Diff\u2019rent Strokes\u2019 alum, 59, was by his mother\u2019s side when she died in late August while in hospice care at his home in Phoenix.
