Bush, <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.gasd.101744\/gov.uscourts.gasd.101744.52.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">delivered<\/a> the win for the Biden administration late on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The ruling means Biden may move forward with his administration&#8217;s student loan forgiveness plan, just weeks before the November election.<\/p>\n<p>The development stems from a lawsuit against the aid package brought by seven GOP-led states. The states \u2014 Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Dakota and Ohio \u2014 said the U.S. Department of Education&#8217;s new debt cancellation effort is illegal.<\/p>\n<p>However, Hall found that Georgia lacked standing to sue against the relief plan, and could not be the venue for the case. <\/p>\n<p>The judge directed the case to be transferred to Missouri, since the states claim Biden&#8217;s plan would most harm student loan servicer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mohela.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mohela<\/a>, or the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority. <\/p>\n<p><strong>This is breaking news.
