{"id":110129,"date":"2024-10-04T02:21:28","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T19:21:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=110129"},"modified":"2024-10-04T02:21:28","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T19:21:28","slug":"iran-warns-of-unconventional-response-in-case-of-new-israeli-attack-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=110129","title":{"rendered":"Iran warns of \u2018unconventional response\u2019 in case of new Israeli attack | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p class=\"article__subhead\"><em>In indirect message to the US via Qatar, Iran says it doesn\u2019t want a regional war, but that Israel must be \u2018deterred\u2019, an Iranian official tells Al Jazeera.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div aria-live=\"polite\" aria-atomic=\"true\">\n<p>Iran has told the United States via an intermediary that any Israeli attack against Iran would meet an \u201cunconventional response\u201d that includes targeting Israeli infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>In exclusive remarks to Al Jazeera, an Iranian official said on Thursday that his country has sent a message to the US, via Qatar, addressing rising regional tensions after Iran\u2019s missile attack on Israel.<\/p>\n<p>In the message, Tehran told Washington that \u201cthe phase of unilateral self-restraint has ended\u201d, adding that \u201cindividual self-restraint does not secure our national security requirements\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The indirect message also emphasised that Iran does not want a regional war, the official said.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Israel pledged to respond after Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2024\/10\/1\/irans-missile-attack-against-israel-what-we-know-and-what-comes-next\">two-wave ballistic missile attack<\/a> at military and security targets in Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Iran says Tuesday\u2019s missile attack was in response to Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2024\/9\/28\/list-of-hezbollah-hamas-iran-leaders-killed-by-israel-in-recent-months\">killing of key officials<\/a> in Hezbollah and the Palestinian group Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>The salvo of about 200 projectiles caused no casualties as most missiles were intercepted, according to the Israeli army.<\/p>\n<p>The US has repeatedly promised to back its close ally Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Al Jazeera\u2019s Kimberly Halkett, reporting from Washington, said Iran\u2019s message sent to the US appeared to be a response to President Joe Biden\u2019s comments on Wednesday in which he said Israel had the right to respond to the missile attack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden said Israel has the right to retaliate for the recent Iranian strikes, unlike what happened in April when Iran targeted Israel and the White House cautioned Israel not to respond,\u201d Halkett said.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian message could be interpreted in one of two ways, she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt could mean, \u2018We don\u2019t want you to do anything, we\u2019re trying to deter that,\u2019 or it could be a warning: \u2018You take action and our response is going to be even bigger,\u2019\u201d Halkett said.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"tough-consequences\">\u2018Tough consequences\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>The Iranian official who spoke to Al Jazeera said that in the message to the US, Iran reiterated the need to curb Israel \u201cand its unbridled madness\u201d in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Israel this week sent ground troops into southern Lebanon in what it described as \u201climited\u201d raids and has continued to bombard the country, including its capital Beirut, for nearly two weeks. Its attacks have so far killed more than 1,000 people, and displaced more than 1 million from their homes, according to Lebanese officials.<\/p>\n<p>It has also continued its deadly assault on Gaza, which it launched nearly a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>Some 90 percent of the enclave\u2019s population has been displaced and Israeli forces have been accused of exacerbating an already dire humanitarian and hunger crisis by obstructing the supply of aid.<\/p>\n<p>More than 41,000 people have been killed in the Israeli assault, the majority women and children, according to Palestinian authorities. Israel says it is fighting Hamas \u201ctargets and infrastructure\u201d in the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Israel must be \u201cdeterred practically\u201d, the Iranian official said.<\/p>\n<p>Tohid Asadi, a writer and Iranian affairs specialist, told Al Jazeera that while Iran had no interest in \u201cdragging the entire west Asia into a full-fledged, all-out war scenario\u201d, Israel has continued to test it in the last few months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the developments, we are observing these days, we are seeing and hearing a sort of double-edged statement by Iranian officials,\u201d Asadi said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn one hand, they claim they are not interested in war \u2026 at the same time, they\u2019re saying they\u2019re not afraid of war,\u201d he said. The comments suggest that in case of any further aggression, there would be \u201ctough consequences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe message clearly heard from Tehran these days is that it\u2019s not going to patient any more because its patience has limits,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Elijah Magnier, a military analyst, agreed.
