Mommy!\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Bella alleged when she tried to get access into the room, Artem opened the door and tackled her to the ground. When she tried to gain access again, he allegedly pushed her across the hall into their master bedroom. <\/p>\n<p>The ex-WWE star claimed their alleged altercation escalated from there. <\/p>\n<p>Bella alleged Artem forced her to the bathroom floor and started pressing down on her chest near her sternum. She also claimed there were several times she was verbally abused by Artem. <\/p>\n<p>The ex-wrestler said she doesn\u2019t want her son to grow up in a turbulent environment and believes Artem needs therapy and anger management.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ reported the judge signed off on the restraining order, barring Artem from contacting Bella or their child. Nikki\u2019s number one priority has always been the wellbeing of her son. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received and continues to ask for privacy for her and her family during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Artem Chigvintsev. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Artem was <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/08\/29\/entertainment\/dwts-pro-artem-chigvintsev-arrested-for-domestic-violence\/\">arrested for suspected domestic violence<\/a>\u00a0on Aug. 29. The charges were later dropped, with a spokesperson for Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley telling The Post that her office \u201cdeclined to<br \/>file criminal charges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision to not file charges against Mr. Chigvintsev was made after a thorough review of the criminal investigation and careful evaluation of the evidence presented to the DA\u2019s Office,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>The former \u201cDWTS\u201d pro <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/25\/entertainment\/dwts-artem-chigvintsev-thankful-that-the-truth-has-prevailed-in-dropped-domestic-violence-case\/\">broke his silence<\/a> after the decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped,\u201d Artem shared on his Instagram story. \u201cThis has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bella <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/11\/entertainment\/nikki-garcia-files-for-divorce-from-artem-chigvintsev-after-his-arrest\/\">filed for divorce<\/a>\u00a0on Sept. 11,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/12\/entertainment\/nikki-garcia-asks-for-custody-of-son-after-filing-for-divorce-from-artem-chigvintsev\/\">asking for sole custody<\/a>\u00a0of their son.
