to the Oldies&#8221; star&#8217;s celebration of life in New Orleans on Saturday, his brother Lenny Simmons revealed a &#8220;little secret&#8221; about his late brother&#8217;s burial.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a video obtained by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2024\/10\/05\/richard-simmons-brother-speaks-funeral-celebration-of-life\/#continued\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">TMZ<\/a>, Lenny \u2014 who previously told Fox News Digital that Richard died due to complications from recent falls and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/health\/heart-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>heart disease<\/u><\/a> \u2014 revealed that &#8220;not too many people know&#8221; CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fitness instructor and TV icon died as a result of blunt traumatic injuries, the <a href=\"https:\/\/me.lacounty.gov\/2024\/press-releases\/cause-and-manner-of-death-determined-for-milton-teagle-simmons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><u>Los Angeles County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office<\/u><\/a> announced in August. The 76-year-old\u2019s manner of death was ruled as an accident.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Arteriosclerotic cardiovascular was listed as a contributing factor.<\/p>\n<p>The star suffered a fall on July 11 and spent the following day in bed. On the morning of July 13, Simmons was found unresponsive on his bedroom floor. Simmons passed away one day after his birthday, July 12.<\/p>\n<p>She told him, &#8220;Let\u2019s go to the hospital. Maybe you broke your leg.&#8221; Simmons sai. &#8220;No, Teresa, not on my birthday.
