Ethereum, more of a long-term technology bet that this blockchain will provide more use cases and more value to the economy going forward.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Part of the crypto community <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/martypartymusic\/status\/1842622554852471185\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">echoed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mitchnick\u2019s presentations, underscoring that BTC is \u2018money\u2019 with less inflationary pressure than fiat currencies, which lose value annually.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But it also settled the raging debate that has been going on for a while: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ethereum-as-money-heres-why-the-market-doesnt-support-the-idea-yet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETH isn\u2019t money<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In fact, since the introduction of Blobs earlier this year, ETH\u2019s inflation has hiked, making it less of an \u201cultra-sound money.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the projections hold, BTC could rally more during future geopolitical tensions, while ETH could decline in such scenarios.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BlackRock\u2019s perspective is crucial since it is a trendsetter and widely accredited. Along with Grayscale, the asset managers are perceived to be responsible for the US shift and final approval of US spot BTC ETFs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the ETFs debuted, BlacRock\u2019s ETFs have outperformed every alternative offering and crossed key milestones. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of writing, its BTC ETF, iShares Bitcoin Trust [IBIT], had a cumulative netflow of $21.5 billion with nearly $23 billion in net assets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That said, since it began trading in July, BlacRock\u2019s ETH ETF, ETHA, has netted $1.1 billion in total inflows.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ergo, the world\u2019s largest asset manager, could influence how other investors view the sector. According to some market observers, the message seems clear \u2014 Bitcoin is money, while the rest of crypto is speculative.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the meantime, BTC was valued at $62K, down 5% on the weekly charts.
