{"id":111696,"date":"2024-10-08T07:05:44","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T00:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=111696"},"modified":"2024-10-08T07:05:44","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T00:05:44","slug":"jim-cramer-counters-amazon-apple-downgrades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=111696","title":{"rendered":"Jim Cramer counters Amazon, Apple downgrades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"NewsShowArticle-ArticleBody-6\" data-module=\"ArticleBody\" data-test=\"articleBody-2\" data-analytics=\"NewsShowArticle-articleBody-6-2\"><span class=\"HighlightShare-hidden\" style=\"top:0;left:0\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<p>CNBC&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/jim-cramer-bio\/\">Jim Cramer<\/a> told investors not to get caught up in downgrades or general trading on Wall Street, reiterating his stance that there&#8217;s merit to sticking with solid companies even if their share prices fluctuate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I look at the history of this incredible bull market\u2014and it has been an incredible bull market\u2014it&#8217;s littered with &#8216;buy-to-hold, hold-to-sell, buy-to-hold, hold-to-sell,&#8217; these downgrades that scare you out of amazing stocks at levels that may temporarily be too high, but will recover later,&#8221; he said. &#8220;If you listen to the downgrades, though, you&#8217;ll never recover with it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cramer said Monday had a &#8220;ridiculous plethora of sell-side downgrades,&#8221; where the <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.DJI\/\">Dow Jones Industrial Average<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> dipped 0.94%, the <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\/\">S&amp;P 500<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> shed 0.96% and the <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-4\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\/\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> declined 1.18%. He conceded that the session was poor, but said heeding too many downgrades can be bad for those investing in the market for the long term.<\/p>\n<p>Although he acknowledged that <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-5\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/AMZN\/\">Amazon<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> is facing some hurdles, he disagreed with Wells Fargo&#8217;s downgrade of the stock. He said the megacap has faced hurdles before and bounces back, saying it&#8217;s only a matter of time before that happens. He noted that shares recovered after a substantial dip at the beginning of August, when the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/08\/01\/amazon-amzn-q2-earnings-report-2024.html\">reported<\/a> a revenue miss.<\/p>\n<p>Cramer also disagreed with Jeffries&#8217; downgrade of <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-7\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/AAPL\/\">Apple<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>. While he said the company could be facing some near-term headwinds with the release of the iPhone16, he claimed the company doesn&#8217;t have a record of releasing subpar products. He continued, sayin the downgrade was &#8220;betting against Apple&#8217;s entire culture of excellence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wall Street is addicted to trading,&#8221; Cramer said. &#8220;But if you&#8217;re managing your own money, you should not be listening to all of this trading advice.
