And, according to online comments from people who said they were passengers on the flight, the movie could not be turned off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">The crew played the movie following the malfunction of personal in-flight entertainment systems last week, according to a person who recounted the flight experience on Reddit. The user added that the film, which features sexually explicit language, images and words displayed on the screen, played for almost an hour before it was shut off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cIt was super uncomfortable for everyone, especially with families and kids onboard,\u201d the user wrote. \u201cHow is this acceptable for a major airline?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Qantas said in a statement that the crew chose the movie \u201cbased on the request from a number of passengers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"css-ew4tgv\" aria-label=\"companion column\"\/><\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"companionColumn-1\">\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Neither the Reddit user nor the airline divulged what was the movie in question, but <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/travel\/2024\/10\/07\/qantas-movie-nudity-daddio\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">other media outlets<\/a> and internet sleuths have identified it as the 2023 film \u201c<a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt7461686\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Daddio<\/a>,\u201d starring Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn.
