You can follow him via Twitter @BradyHenderson.<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>RENTON, Wash. &#8212; The <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"3767a23c-a17d-294f-288a-9086ad1f0680\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/sea\/seattle-seahawks\">Seattle Seahawks<\/a> plan to place outside linebacker <a data-player-guid=\"1d728632-57e5-4a79-d286-cf7a440eb8eb\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3120358\/uchenna-nwosu\">Uchenna Nwosu<\/a> on injured reserve because of a thigh injury, a source told ESPN on Tuesday, confirming a report.<\/p>\n<p>Nwosu, the Seahawks&#8217; best edge defender, will have to miss at least the next four games. That will make him eligible to return for their rematch with the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"985a261f-296c-c95c-32a5-addc4df75001\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/sf\/san-francisco-49ers\">San Francisco 49ers<\/a> in Santa Clara in Week 11, following Seattle&#8217;s bye.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Mike Macdonald had already said Monday that Nwosu wouldn&#8217;t play Thursday night against the 49ers, adding: &#8220;We&#8217;ll see here in the next few days if it&#8217;s going to be longer than that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nwosu, a seventh-year veteran, missed the final 11 games of 2023 with a torn pectoral muscle as well as the first four games of this season because of a sprained MCL he suffered on a cut block in the preseason finale. His 2024 debut Sunday marked his first game in almost a calendar year, but it was cut short after he played 20 snaps in Seattle&#8217;s loss to the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"378600ea-2397-8364-8399-b7c1606a49a7\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/nyg\/new-york-giants\">New York Giants<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#8217;s Picks<\/h2>\n<p>2 Related<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The Seahawks are also likely to be without rookie defensive tackle <a data-player-guid=\"4d80e833-e4f3-3887-b4c6-8ffacef00c8a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4570040\/byron-murphy-ii\">Byron Murphy II<\/a> on Thursday night as they look to snap their five-game losing streak to San Francisco. Seattle&#8217;s first-round pick missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, and Macdonald said it looks like it&#8217;ll take another week to get him back.<\/p>\n<p>The Seahawks may also be without cornerback <a data-player-guid=\"971781c0-ff15-2527-6985-99d8dcc5cd5a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4245185\/riq-woolen\">Riq Woolen<\/a> (ankle) and outside linebackers <a data-player-guid=\"716deb0b-1031-42db-a67f-70c4c78c7fce\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4567226\/derick-hall\">Derick Hall<\/a> (foot) and <a data-player-guid=\"ef3adbfc-5e42-09ef-1cd0-962697392941\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4240754\/boye-mafe\">Boye Mafe<\/a> (knee). Seattle held walk-throughs Monday and Tuesday and listed Hall and Woolen as non-participants both days on their estimated practice reports.<\/p>\n<p>Mafe, meanwhile, went from limited to a full participant.
