{"id":112257,"date":"2024-10-09T19:36:47","date_gmt":"2024-10-09T12:36:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=112257"},"modified":"2024-10-09T19:36:47","modified_gmt":"2024-10-09T12:36:47","slug":"kremlin-reportedly-confirms-trump-sent-putin-covid-test-machines-denies-putin-phone-calls-since-he-left-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=112257","title":{"rendered":"Kremlin reportedly confirms Trump sent Putin Covid test machines, denies Putin phone calls since he left office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"\">Former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> did send coronavirus testing devices to Russian President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/vladimir-putin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vladimir Putin<\/a> at the height of the pandemic, the Kremlin confirmed Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told Bloomberg News in a written statement that \u201cwe also sent equipment at the beginning of the pandemic.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The story was initially reported in \u201cWar,\u201d a new book by veteran Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward, which reports on Trump and President Joe Biden\u2019s relationships with foreign leaders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The book claims that Trump secretly sent Abbott <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/health\/coronavirus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Covid-19<\/a> testing devices to Putin when the machines were in short supply. NBC News  has not been able to independently verify this.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Peskov also denied Woodward&#8217;s claim that Trump and Putin have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/trump-putin-talked-many-7-2021-new-book-claims-rcna174528\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spoken on the telephone <\/a>several times since Trump left office. \u201cNo, that\u2019s not true,\u201d he told Russian outlet RBC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Trump also denied the reporting in an interview with ABC News\u2019 Jonathan Karl. \u201cHe\u2019s a storyteller. A bad one. And he\u2019s lost his marbles,\u201d Trump said of Woodward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In a separate statement to Bloomberg, Trump&#8217;s re-election team accused the journalist of bias and said \u201cnone of these made up stories by Bob Woodward are true.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The book, which is set to be published Oct. 15, raises questions about how Trump would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/meeting-zelenskyy-trump-says-will-negotiate-ukraine-russia-deal-good-b-rcna172987\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">handle the war in Ukraine<\/a> if re-elected and whether he would continue to provide aid to the country. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Trump has repeatedly said he could settle the\u00a0war between Russia and Ukraine\u00a0in one day if he\u2019s elected president again. But when he was asked about this claim in July, Russia\u2019s ambassador to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia told reporters that \u201cthe Ukrainian crisis cannot be solved in one day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Republican nominee said last month that his relationship with Putin is \u201cvery good.\u201d He said the same of his ties to Ukrainian President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/world\/volodymyr-zelenskyy-become-global-phenomenon-rcna24355\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volodymyr Zelenskyy <\/a>when the two met at Trump Tower last month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As a private citizen, Trump would need the sitting president\u2019s express permission to negotiate on behalf of the U.S. government.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Woodward says in the book that senior adviser Jason Miller told him in July that he was \u201cnot aware\u201d of any conversations between Trump and Putin, but should they wish to speak, \u201cthey\u2019d know how to get in touch with each other.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"endmark\">Trump\u2019s critics have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/democrats-say-trump-keeping-congress-dark-north-korea-n974301\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">long taken<\/a> issue with his coziness with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/trump-describes-presidency-new-book-rcna168910\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">authoritarian leaders<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/bad-it-gets-pelosi-democrats-take-aim-trump-over-russian-n1232363\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Putin<\/a>.
