Additionally, I wanted to stretch my limits a bit, so I\u2019m avoiding doubling down on characters from the same show. Let me know some of your picks because I\u2019m sure I forgot one or two\u2026 or more.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Fantasy Football Squad of Cartoon Characters<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>QUARTERBACK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yakko Warner<\/strong> \u2014 I originally had Bugs Bunny (if you\u2019ve ever seen his baseball episode, he\u2019s a cheat code), but because I\u2019m trying to only use one per show, I have another Looney Tunes character later. Yakko is essentially the Animaniacs\u2019 version of Bugs, who can mess with the laws of physics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RUNNING BACK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Road Runner<\/strong> \u2014 Was there a more obvious choice? It\u2019s not just the speed, as brick walls are literally unable to stop him (well, rock faces with train tunnels painted on them\u2026 but you get it).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Popeye<\/strong> \u2014 Short-yard powerhouse, who will NEVER fumble with those arms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WIDE RECEIVER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lion-O<\/strong> \u2014 Athletic specimen with speed to match. A true alpha.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He-Man<\/strong> \u2014 He might not have the speed of Lion-O, but he can trump him in power, is no speed slouch, and would be a red zone target machine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pink Panther<\/strong> \u2014 We need a slippery, clever, elusive, third option. The Pink Panther was one of the trickiest characters there was.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TIGHT END<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Johnny Bravo<\/strong> \u2014 Does any character scream Gronk more than him? Next!<\/p>\n<p><strong>FLEX<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mickey Mouse<\/strong> \u2014 Before you chuckle, you might want to make sure you\u2019re aware of all his abilities, leadership and tricks up his sleeve seen in all his video game appearances. Mickey would be my <a class=\"ath_autolink\" data-id=\"EkvNknCaAlWP9pSo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/nfl\/player\/taysom-hill-EkvNknCaAlWP9pSo\/\">Taysom Hill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IDP PICKS (four \u2014 one DL, one LB, two secondary)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Raphael (DL) <\/strong>\u2014 You want an agro-defensive option? Look no further than the only one who might match Taz in that department, but with more muscles, technique and, yes, even planning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Launchpad McQuack (LB)<\/strong> \u2014 He\u2019s my Bobby Boucher. Crashing is his game, and Launchpad would cause havoc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scrooge McDuck (secondary)<\/strong> \u2014 One of the most powerful, fast and experienced animated characters of all time \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dUG5LUHlgq4&amp;t=5s&amp;ab_channel=DEATHBATTLE%21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">check THIS!<\/a> \u2014 and he can leap (bounce) to heights not seen on the field with that cane. Oh, and he definitely counts because 1.) DuckTales! and 2.) Launchpad was also on Darkwing Duck, so that\u2019s where I\u2019m pulling him from \u2014 it\u2019s my list, I can bend the rules just like cartoon characters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasmanian Devil (secondary)<\/strong> \u2014 Hah! Again, bending the rules a bit, but the Road Runner actually had his own show for a while, so I can go back to a Looney Tunes character. Taz is why I wanted to save my pick from there. Even Ed Reed would cower at Taz\u2019s defensive dominance and ability to fly around the field to stop someone in the backfield or a pass downfield.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLAY CALLER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jimmy Neutron<\/strong> \u2014 I mean, \u201cBoy Genius.\u201d IQ of 210?
