She did her bit, but it wasn\u2019t enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>After battling cancer, the last thing on Kate Middleton\u2019s mind is playing peacekeeper between Prince William and Prince Harry, royal experts claims. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that Kate, 42, \u201cis totally at one\u201d with her husband Prince William, 42, and is done handling the sibling rift.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHarry portrayed her as cold and unwelcoming to [his wife] Meghan Markle\u00a0in [his memoir] \u2018Spare,\u2019\u00a0when he painted an extremely damaging picture of the royal family,\u201d <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/kate-middleton-quits-playing-prince-harry-peacemaker-finally-threw-up-hands-disgust-expert\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fitzwilliams told Fox News<\/a>. \u201cThe memoir is soon to be released in paperback and his allegations will surface again, though fortunately, he will not be adding to the volume or promoting it. He knows perfectly well how damaging it has been.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Instead of focusing her time on the royal brothers, Kate will focus her time returning to royal duties as she prioritizes her health.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have recently seen encouraging signs of Catherine\u2019s recovery,\u201d he explained. \u201cHer focus, as she has said, is being \u2018cancer free.\u2019 The Wales family has had a tremendously difficult year. She has finished her course of preventative chemotherapy. noopener\">Trooping the Colour Ceremony<\/a>, according to reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/06\/18\/entertainment\/kate-middletons-trooping-the-colour-outing-took-toll-on-health-amid-cancer-battle-expert\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Harry and Meghan have been following Kate\u2019s recovery<\/a> with huge interest, but sadly it\u2019s had to be more from afar because their lines of communication with the palace and the Waleses, in particular, are minimal, to say the least,\u201d a source\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/closeronline.co.uk\/celebrity\/news\/meghan-markle-secret-messages-kate-middleton\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told Closer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve jointly reached out to send well wishes, but they\u2019re still not really in a place with Kate to warrant much of a response,\u201d the source ready to let the anger and bitterness go,\u201d the insider added.<\/p>\n<p>The Duke of Sussex, meanwhile, visited London in May to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.<\/p>\n<figure coming anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always used to say I think there is a possibility, but as time goes on and the more we hear and see, I\u2019m thinking that a reunion between them is more and more unlikely,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/05\/10\/entertainment\/kate-middleton-prince-harry-have-broken-relationship-reconciliation-unlikely\/\">former royal butler Grant Harrold told The Post in May<\/a>. \u201cI always thought Kate would have been the one between them that would have broken that because she had a good relationship with Harry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, as time goes on, I think that happening is becoming less and less likely,\u201d Harrold continued.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n\t<\/aside>\n<p>Andersen had also claimed that William would not allow Harry \u201canywhere near his ailing wife.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kinsey Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, told Fox News that Harry and Meghan are irrelevant to the future king and queen as Kate puts her energy \u201con her health and family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven with Catherine currently in the clear \u2026 the reality is that cancer has taken a toll on King Charles,\u201d Schofield claimed, referring to\u00a0the monarch, 75, who is also battling cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Though Buckingham Palace hasn\u2019t specified what type of cancer the king was diagnosed with, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/10\/08\/entertainment\/why-king-charles-is-pausing-his-cancer-treatments-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">he will reportedly be pausing his treatment for 11 days <\/a>for his royal Australian tour next week.<\/p>\n<p>King Charles, alongside wife Queen Camilla and a traveling doctor, are set to leave for the tour on Oct. 18.
