Hopeful applicants will need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and, in a bit of a hint (<em>maybe?<\/em>), Nintendo added that &#8220;customers will need to download exclusive software to their own Nintendo Switch system in order to participate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-theme=\"light\">\n<p class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\" lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We will be performing a test related to a new feature for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NintendoSwitchOnline?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" class=\"link jsx-1337145738 jsx-3925284146 underlined\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#NintendoSwitchOnline<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NintendoSwitch?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" class=\"link jsx-1337145738 jsx-3925284146 underlined\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#NintendoSwitch<\/a>. Participants outside of Japan will be chosen on a first-come first-serve basis, while those from Japan will be chosen via raffles if there are too many applicants. Recruitment opens on Thursday morning and ends on October 15. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Otherwise, though, we&#8217;re completely in the dark on what this &#8220;new feature&#8221; could be.
