Trump said again on Wednesday night that he would not agree to a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, as the noon Eastern time Thursday deadline for his response to CNN\u2019s proposed debate approached.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Ms. Harris had accepted CNN\u2019s offer to debate on Oct. 23. Fox News had also extended an offer on Wednesday for a debate this month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Mr. Trump insisted <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113280012893235480\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">on his social media site<\/a> that Ms. Harris wanted a \u201crematch\u201d because she lost their first meeting, despite polls that <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/09\/19\/us\/politics\/harris-trump-times-siena-poll-pennsylvania.html\" title=\"\">suggested otherwise<\/a>, finding that most respondents thought Ms. Harris had performed better.
