Though it is possible the Cybercab is essentially sharing the same chassis as the new passenger vehicle, as the car maker has suggested in the past. The sub-$30K next-gen EV will arrive later this year, Tesla has previously confirmed.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"caas-jump-link-heading\" id=\"surprise-reveal\">Surprise reveal<\/h3>\n<p>In an unexpected move, Tesla debuted the <a data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/musk-unveils-cybercab-robotaxi-032624348.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Robovan;cpos:5;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">Robovan<\/a> \u2014 a much larger EV with hidden wheels and no real windshield. The Robovan&#8217;s design had echoes of the science-fiction movie <em>Blade Runner<\/em>, with wide light bars across the front facade and monolithic design.
