Cause of death and diagnoses revealed<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Taylor Rousseau Grigg died on Oct. 4 after suffering complications from asthma and Addison\u2019s disease, a representative for her family told TODAY.com in a statement. TODAY.com has reached out to Cameron Grigg for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Addison\u2019s disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is an uncommon chronic condition that occurs when the body doesn\u2019t produce enough of certain hormones, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/addisons-disease\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20350293\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mayo Clinic.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Asthma causes a person\u2019s airways to narrow and swell, and may produce extra mucus, according to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/asthma\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20369653\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mayo Clinic<\/a>. Asthma can make breathing difficult and also trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. In some cases, it can lead to a life-threatening asthma attack.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"\">What did Taylor Rousseau Grigg share about her health?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Taylor Rousseau Grigg addressed her health problems in a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@itstaylorrousseau\/video\/7400873398332591403\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0TikTok posted Aug. 8<\/a>, without sharing a diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">She told her more than 1.4 million followers that although she had once been \u201cvery athletic,\u201d she was now \u201cnot healthy and in good shape\u201d and hadn\u2019t been \u201cin a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n<section class=\"embed-widget embedWidget embed-widget--medium\" data-testid=\"embed-widget\"\/>\n<p class=\"\">Though she didn\u2019t give specifics about her diagnoses at the time, Taylor Rousseau Grigg said she \u201cgot sick\u201d after she and her husband got married in August 2023. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Months prior to posting the video, Taylor Rousseau Grigg said learned she had a \u201cforever diagnosis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cYou\u2019re seeing me be sick for the whole time that we\u2019re married and not finding out what was wrong until this year \u2026 I barely found out what was wrong with me.
