{"id":113125,"date":"2024-10-12T01:51:45","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T18:51:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=113125"},"modified":"2024-10-12T01:51:45","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T18:51:45","slug":"american-pickers-star-frank-fritzs-cause-of-death-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=113125","title":{"rendered":"\u2018American Pickers\u2019 star Frank Fritz&#8217;s cause of death revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cAmerican Pickers\u201d star Frank Fritz\u2019s cause of death has been released.<\/p>\n<p>The reality star, who <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/10\/01\/entertainment\/american-pickers-star-frank-fritz-dead-at-60\/\">passed away at age 60<\/a> on Sept. 30, died from \u201clate sequela of cerebral infarction,\u201d according to Fritz\u2019s death certificate, obtained by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2024\/10\/11\/american-pickers-star-frank-fritz-official-cause-of-death-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TMZ<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The condition is more commonly known as a stroke.<\/p>\n<p>Fritz\u2019s death certificate also states that his stroke was brought on by cerebral vascular disease, a group of conditions that affect blood flow and the blood vessels in the brain, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uofmhealth.org\/conditions-treatments\/brain-neurological-conditions\/cerebrovascular#:~:text=Cerebrovascular%20disease%20refers%20to%20a,blood%20vessel%20rupture%20(hemorrhage).\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Michigan Health.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Frank Fritz from<br \/>\n\u201cAmerican Pickers.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Courtesy The HISTORY Channel<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The reality TV star also had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/aortic-stenosis\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20353139#:~:text=Aortic%20valve%20stenosis%20is%20a,the%20rest%20of%20the%20body.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aortic stenosis<\/a>, a chronic condition that can constrict the amount of blood flowing from the heart to the rest of the body, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhlbi.nih.gov\/health\/copd#:~:text=COPD%2C%20or%20chronic%20obstructive%20pulmonary,makes%20it%20hard%20to%20breathe.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">COPD<\/a>, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, a condition caused by damage to the airways or other parts of the lung that blocks airflow and makes it hard to breathe. Both of these conditions contributed to Fritz\u2019s death, per the official document. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Fritz\u2019s co-star and friend Mike Wolfe announced the History Channel alum\u2019s shocking death on social media Tuesday, Oct. 1.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Mike Wolfe\u2019s tribute to Frank Fritz on Instagram. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram \/ @mikewolfeamericanpicker<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night,\u201d he wrote on\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DAlVU95ucsl\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=b277d460-f503-48df-9dc7-54c683ed6040\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve [known] Frank for more\u00a0then\u00a0half my life\u00a0and\u00a0what you\u2019ve seen on TV has always been what I have\u00a0seen,\u00a0a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny.\u00a0The same\u00a0off camera\u00a0as he was on, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fritz\u00a0was\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/22\/american-pickers-star-frank-fritz-hospitalized-after-stroke\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hospitalized\u00a0for a stroke<\/a>\u00a0two years before his death.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore the show we would take off together to places we never knew existed with no destination in mind and just\u00a0the shared\u00a0passion to discover something interesting and historic,\u201d added Wolfe, 60.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019ve been on countless trips and shared so many miles.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cAmerican Pickers\u201d stars Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe. <span class=\"credit\">The HISTORY Channel \/ Zachary Maxwell Stertz<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Frank Fritz on \u201cAmerican Pickers.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">The HISTORY Channel<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The star concluded his post by\u00a0writing, \u201cI feel blessed that I was there by his side when he took one last journey home. I love you buddy and will miss you so much I know you\u2019re in a better place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fritz and Wolfe co-hosted \u201cAmerican Pickers\u201d since 2010, traveling\u00a0the US in search of rare artifacts and treasures to sell in antique shops or add to their personal collections.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The History Channel and \u201cAmerican Pickers\u201d producers Cineflix Production told The Post in a joint statement on Tuesday: \u201cWe are saddened to share that our friend and beloved member of The HISTORY Channel and American Pickers family, Frank Fritz, has passed away on September 30, 2024. Our thoughts are with Frank\u2019s loved ones during this difficult time. He will\u00a0be deeply missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In July 2022, Wolfe took to Instagram to share the news of Fritz\u2019s stroke.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Mike Wolfe  and Frank Fritz from the History Channel show \u201cAmerican Pickers.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">The HISTORY Channel<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI have been very private in the past year in regards to Franks life and the journey he\u2019s been on,\u201d he captioned his post at the time. \u201cThere has been lots of opinions in regards to mine and Frank\u2019s friendship and the show but now is not the time to set the record straight. Now is the time to pray for my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrank has suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. Please keep him in your hearts and thoughts,\u201d Wolfe continued. \u201cFrank I pray more than anything that you make it through this okay.
