Glenn Youngkin requiring daily updates to voter lists to remove ineligible voters violates federal law. <\/p>\n<p>The National Voter Registration Act requires a 90-day \u201cquiet period\u201d ahead of elections for the maintenance of voter rolls.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongress adopted the National Voter Registration Act\u2019s quiet period restriction to prevent error-prone, eleventh hour efforts that all too often disenfranchise qualified voters,\u201d Assistant U.S. Attorney General Kristen Clarke\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/justice-department-sues-virginia-violating-federal-laws-prohibition-systematic-efforts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said in a
