The show. Oh my god. It&#8217;s the most amazing [thing]!&#8217; And you don&#8217;t wanna hear that anymore. You don&#8217;t,&#8221; she said on a recent episode of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartless.com\/episodes\/episode\/319f1c21\/gillian-anderson\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow\">Smartless<\/a> <\/em>podcast, which is hosted by fellow actors <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/person\/will-arnett\/\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\">Will Arnett<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/person\/jason-bateman\/\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"3\">Jason Bateman<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/person\/sean-hayes\/\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"4\">Sean Hayes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"mntl-sc-block_5-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block ew-sc-block-image mntl-sc-block-universal-image mntl-sc-block-image--no-theme mntl-sc-block-image figure-landscape figure-high-res\"><figcaption id=\"mntl-figure-caption_1-0\" class=\"comp mntl-figure-caption text-utility-100 text-utility-100 figure-article-caption\"> <span class=\"figure-article-caption-text\">Gillian Anderson plays Scully on &#8216;The X-Files&#8217;.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"figure-article-caption-owner\"><\/p>\n<p>Ken Staniforth\/Fox\/Everett<\/p>\n<p><\/span><br \/>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> And then, it hit her.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> &#8220;I suddenly got what they were talking about, like, five years after the show ended,&#8221; Anderson said. &#8220;I was kinda like, &#8216;Yeah. That was kinda cool. I was on this really cool show.'&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> <em>The X-Files <\/em>originally aired from 1993 to 2002, before being revived in 2016, when it ran for two more seasons. You know?
