And then the air show, she gave me a much bigger [one], and I didn\u2019t ask her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tToward the end of the Oct. 5 episode\u2019s opening sketch, which featured Carvey\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/joe-biden\/\" id=\"auto-tag_joe-biden_1\" data-tag=\"joe-biden\">Joe Biden<\/a> enjoying some ice cream next to <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/saturday-night-live-trump-kamala-harris-tim-walz-2024-politicians-1236016243\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/saturday-night-live-trump-kamala-harris-tim-walz-2024-politicians-1236016243\/\">Rudolph\u2019s\u00a0Kamala Harris\u00a0and\u00a0Andy Samberg\u2019s Doug Emhoff<\/a> as they watched the vice presidential debate, Carvey smacks the ice cream into Rudolph\u2019s face as she sits there seemingly surprised, trying to hold back a laugh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI was right kinda gesturing,\u201d Carvey recalled off the split-second decision. \u201cI thought, \u2018Here\u2019s ice cream, big gob. Here\u2019s Maya\u2019s face.\u2019 And I didn\u2019t wanna hurt her, but I just \u2014 I thought of it, and did it within two seconds. So that\u2019s to put to rest all the rumors and all the talk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLater in the podcast, Carvey said he thinks there\u2019s been a more \u201cplayful and fun\u201d response to his Biden impression since the president dropped out of the 2024 presidential race against Donald Trump, whereas \u201cit was a hot oven\u201d when he was running for reelection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBut overall, Carvey never wants to come across as disrespecting Biden. He views his impersonation as just exaggerating some of the president\u2019s unique qualities. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cThe main thing is it\u2019s making me laugh, and I\u2019m definitely doing stuff that he doesn\u2019t do,\u201d the comedian added. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t smash ice creams into faces. You know? He doesn\u2019t say, \u2018I can\u2019t believe it\u2019s not butter.\u2019 I\u2019m doing what I did to the first Bush.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCarvey was a castmember on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/snl\/\" id=\"auto-tag_snl_1\" data-tag=\"snl\">SNL<\/a><\/em> from 1986 to 1993, during which he played several politicians, including President George H.W.
