(KPTV) &#8211; A man died on Wednesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kptv.com\/2024\/10\/05\/man-crashes-car-after-being-shot-injured-while-driving-ne-portland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">five days after being shot while driving in northeast Portland<\/a>, the Portland Police Bureau announced on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On Oct. 4 shortly before 6 p.m., people flagged down a police officer about a crash at Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Northeast Columbia Boulevard. Officers learned that one of the involved drivers had been shot and injured before the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><b>SEE ALSO:<\/b><\/p>\n<figure class=\"media-item | figure video | media-item-video pb-3 w-100\" data-video-asset=\"4e178cf2-1b5b-460f-9b6d-e46c2b3c962e\"><figcaption class=\"figure-caption mt-1 px-1\"><span class=\"caption-text\">With little more than three weeks from election day, the Portland Police Bureau has increased training for their Rapid Response Team (RRT).<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The victim, identified as 38-year-old Anthony Dwayne Bell, Jr. of Portland, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. He died at the hospital on Oct. 9 from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The initial investigation determined that the suspect or suspects had shot at Bell from another car and then sped away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police have not made any arrests, and have not released any suspect information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Anyone with information the case is asked to contact Detective J.D.
