The number of potential alleged victims and the length of time alleged in the Indictment both weigh in favor of a bill of particulars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBy \u201coutright absurd,\u201d the attorneys mean the six new lawsuits that were put in the court docket on October 14 to join the now around 20 people, women and men, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/09\/sean-combs-new-sexual-assault-lawsuit-pregnancy-1236102345\/\">who have accused Sean Combs<\/a> of drugging them, beating them, threatening them, forcing them to participate in his so-called \u201cFreak Offs,\u201d and raping them. As<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/09\/sean-combs-arrested-fbi-new-york-city-1236091266\/\"> the September 15 arrested<\/a> \u2018All About the Benjamins\u2019 rapper sits in Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn\u00a0facing life behind bars if found guilty at <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/10\/sean-combs-rape-trial-start-date-1236112435\/\">a trial set to start on May 5, 2025,<\/a> Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee promises that he has over 100 more Combs victims soon to come forward with lawsuits of their own.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tUS Attorney Damian Williams office had no comment on today\u2019s defense filing. However, in the four page missive, Agnifilo and Geragos say the other side \u201copposes disclosure of alleged victims\u2019 names at this stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tUnsurprisingly, the prosecutors are following the standard protocol of keeping alleged sexual assault victims names out of the public record for their safety. \u201cThis is all about shaming the alleged victims, it\u2019s part of the defense\u2019 offense course of action,\u201d a law enforcement source with knowledge of the case told Deadline. \u201cThey\u2019ll try anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAdditionally, what makes this latest move so unique, to put it politely, on another level by the Combs and his defense team is that they already know by their own admission who several of the alleged victims are.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSpecifically, as they admit, the defense know who \u201cVictim-1,\u201d is. H<\/a>ours after Ventura\u2019s very vivid suit landed in the court docket, Combs denied everything \u2014 as he has in every case so far. Then, he paid Ventura a reported $30 million to kill the case within 24 hours. Ventura\u2019s claims of the violence the \u2018Me &amp; U\u2019 singer lived with from Combs over their more than\u00a0 decade long relationship were given further credence<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/05\/sean-combs-video-cassie-assault-1235921038\/\"> in May when 2016 hotel security footage of a towel wearing Combs pummeling Ventura in the corridor of an upmarket LA hotel was made public.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe caller on the other end of the line with Combs last November has come up in various documents with both sides arguing the validity of the feds\u2019 witness tampering allegations over the nature and intent of that particular call. Everyone obviously knowing who this person is, the defense have accused the feds of concealing evidence that would refute the obstruction claims.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIf exploding cars are any hint, \u201cIndividual-1\u201d is rapper Kid Cudi, who saw one of his vehicles arsoned after a brief affair with Ventura in 2011\/2012 \u201cMultiple witnesses would also testify to the defendant bragging about his role in destroying Individual-1\u2019s car,\u201d states a September 17 letter to the then judge on the case from US Attorney Damian Williams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCalls of \u201cmultiple witness\u201d make it kind of hard to hide someone\u2019s identity, especially when it has been out there or months already.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSimilar to their October 9 claims that Homeland Security agents this spring leaked that 2016 surveillance video (which Diddy bought eight years ago for $50,000), the defense appears to be in conflict with their own facts. In the case of the hotel video leak, the defenses buried in their filing\u2019s footnotes that prosecutors told them they never had the vile video and neither did DHS, something they choose to skid past.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHaving said that,<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/03\/sean-combs-raid-homeland-security-1235867960\/\"> coming months after federal agents raided Combs LA and Miami homes,<\/a> last month\u2019s indictment for racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution does cover a wide swath of time and activities. \u201cThis could be interpreted as treating Mr. Combs\u2019 entire sexual history over the past sixteen years as part of the alleged criminal conspiracy,\u201d the defense lawyers said in writing to the judge today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cMr. Combs also anticipates that the discovery will contain voluminous evidence of consensual sexual activity \u2013 making it all the more difficult for Mr. Combs to ascertain which of his prior sexual partners now claim, years later, that they felt coerced,\u201d they add, with no sense of grim irony.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAs this matter and the criminal case moves along, Combs\u2019 lawyers are taking a third swing at getting their incarcerated client out with <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/10\/sean-combs-defense-evidence-concealed-1236110896\/\">their October 8 motion for pretrial release to the US Court of Appeals for the Second District. <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOddly, Tuesday also saw a posting on Combs\u2019 Instagram account wishing his youngest daughter a Happy Birthday.
