Some of the \u201csneaks\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/10\/14\/24269859\/adobe-max-2024-major-announcements-stream\">previewed during Adobe\u2019s MAX<\/a> event include tools that can turn sketches into a variety of polished designs, and a feature for rotating 2D art as if it were a 3D object.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/gfct0aH2COw?feature=shared&amp;t=42\">\u201cProject Turntable\u201d<\/a> is capable of the latter. The tool allows users to click a button and then drag a slider along to automatically view and snap a vector image into a different viewing perspective \u2014 something that would typically require an artist to redraw the image entirely from scratch. The examples demonstrated at the event retained their original designs when rotated without warping into a new overall shape. The feature provides a \u201cSketch to layout\u201d button that takes a rough design and uses generative AI to transform it into an editable digital image. But many popular features like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/10\/14\/24268813\/photoshop-distraction-removal-ai-tool-launch\">Photoshop\u2019s Remove tool<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2019\/11\/4\/20942578\/adobe-fresco-windows-painting-pen-app-cloud-sync-photoshop-subscription-price\">Adobe\u2019s Fresco painting app<\/a> made their first appearance as sneaks, so there\u2019s a good chance we may see these in Illustrator one day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">Outside of vector art, Adobe also demonstrated \u201cProject Hi-Fi,\u201d a Photoshop plugin that uses a portion of the user\u2019s workspace as a reference to guide AI image generation. It works a bit like Adobe\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/3\/26\/24112533\/adobe-summit-genstudio-ai-firefly-marketing-platform\">structure reference feature for Firefly,<\/a> only with more scope for customization. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">And for audio engineers, \u201cProject Super Sonic\u201d allows you to generate sample sound effects using prompts or by clicking on an object in a silent video, like a flowing stream or ferns in a jungle. The tool itself can recognize what the user is selecting and work out what it should sound like, so you don\u2019t have to go manually hunting through audio libraries.
