A son that now has to face the harsh reality of never seeing his father again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cole proceeded to ask for kindness and plead that her child be spared from too many details of his father\u2019s tragic death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore you leave comments or make videos, ask yourself if you would like your own child or family to read them,\u201d she begged. \u201cPlease give Liam the little dignity he has left in the wake of his death to rest in some peace at last.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Cole and Payne dated for over two years before they broke up in 2018.  <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The former couple welcomed their son, Bear, in 2017.  <span class=\"credit\">Liam Payne\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cole and Payne <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/liam-payne-dating-history\/\">dated for more than two years<\/a> before <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/07\/02\/cheryl-and-liam-payne-split\/\">their breakup<\/a> in 2018.
