Unfortunately, like previous Nintendo Switch 2 leaks, this one comes from slightly dubious sources. <\/p>\n<p>Back on September 18, the world\u2019s first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 supposedly leaked when Chinese sources revealed what is said to be <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/gaming\/news\/nintendo-switch-2-leak-first-look-new-console-rumor\/\">factory prototype images<\/a> of the Nintendo Switch 2. At the time, some other sources of decent reliability confirmed the images to be real, or at least similar to what they\u2019ve been hearing about the console\u2019s design. <\/p>\n<p><h2 class=\"wp-block-savage-platform-primis-video__heading\">\n\t\t\tVideos by ComicBook.com\t\t<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Fast-forward a month, and we have another leak, this time from an anonymous Famiboards leaker who in the past has proven reliable. The leaker did not share any official or even unofficial images of the Nintendo Switch 2, but drawings of what they claim to be the console.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the drawings are not done by the world\u2019s finest artist, and are more basic sketches than anything. Further, they don\u2019t reveal much of note. As you can see, the Nintendo Switch 2 console and dock look very similar to the current Switch console and dock. The latter looks like it may be a bit more rounded this time around, but this could just be the result of a bad drawing. What is notable is the stand, which looks larger and sturdier than what the current Switch is working with.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Potential Switch 2 leak: a Famiboards user who previously leaked some details that were later confirmed by other sources has shared this drawing showing the new dock and the new console stand shape. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gZULlLbSGY\">pic.twitter.com\/gZULlLbSGY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CentroLeaks\/status\/1847734729044341201?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 19, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Since the leak went live, a fairly well-known Nintendo insider that goes by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@NatetheHate\">Nate the Hate<\/a> chimed in, collaborating the leak, at least to an extent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll I can say is that the dock sketch is similar in design\/shape to one I was sent several weeks ago (meaning a drawing of the alleged dock); but I\u2019ve been working to verify it,\u201d said Nate the Hate. \u201cWhether this design has circulated Chinese forums or not, I don\u2019t know; but the general design matches what I was sent in September. Again, haven\u2019t verified the design with any contact\/source at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As always, take this leak with a grain of salt, like any leak. There seems to be some smoke here, suggesting a fire, but none of this is official nor does it come from a bulletproof source. Until this happens, proceed with hesitancy. As for Nintendo, it has not commented on this leak in any capacity.
