Particularly if you\u2019re a comics reader, this thing looks like a winner.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/apple.sjv.io\/baWDvP\"><strong>The new iPad Mini<\/strong><\/a><strong>. <\/strong>I\u2019ve always hoped Apple would decide to do something awesome and new with the iPad Mini. And Apple never does. But I love the Mini all the same, and at the very least, this one is a thoroughly modern iPad that can do every iPad thing. I\u2019ll take that.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dji.com%2Fair-3s\"><strong>The DJI Air 3S<\/strong><\/a><strong>. <\/strong>The new midrange drone in DJI\u2019s lineup has a bunch of nice upgrades but really only one purpose: to work well in the dark. The 3S is built to fly safer, capture better images, and return home more easily, all without being able to see very well. It sounds <em>very <\/em>fun and also like a very good way to prank your friends. I\u2019m just saying.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.anrdoezrs.net%2Fclick-8836598-11556673%3Furl%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.sonos.com%252Fen-us%252Fshop%252Farc-ultra\"><strong>The Sonos Arc Ultra<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> Yeah, the app sucks, but Sonos still makes great-sounding stuff. And I think if you\u2019re going to buy one piece of home stereo gear, a soundbar is the way. If the surround-sound tech works half as well as the company says, this one\u2019s a winner.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/store.analogue.co\/products\/analogue-3d-black\"><strong>The Analogue 3D<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> I have been waiting for Analogue\u2019s Nintendo 64 console for what feels like forever, and this 4K upscaling machine is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/10\/16\/24265587\/analogue-3d-nintendo-64-price-preorder-date\">exactly what I hoped it\u2019d be<\/a>. It doesn\u2019t ship until next year, and you can\u2019t preorder it until Monday, but I\u2019m telling you now because I\u2019d bet good money it\u2019ll sell out in a hurry.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themoviedb.org\/movie\/1323299-fanatical-the-catfishing-of-tegan-and-sara\"><em><strong>Fanatical: The Catfishing of Tegan and Sara<\/strong><\/em><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> Maybe I\u2019m still in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/c\/24247055\/2004-tech-internet-gadgets-phones-pop-culture\">a 2004-y mood<\/a>, so anything Tegan and Sara catches my eye, but this is a wild story: about a specific identity theft, about what happens when fandom gets weird, and so much more.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eater.com\/24265367\/eater-app-where-to-download\"><strong><em>Eater<\/em> for iOS<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> This is exactly what I can never get Google Maps to be: just a million maps of cool, good restaurants. <em>Eater<\/em>\u2019s<em> <\/em>taste often skews a little fancy and expensive, but I\u2019ve rarely gone wrong trusting its recommendations. (I suppose I should disclose that <em>Eater<\/em> is part of Vox Media, as is <em>The Verge<\/em>, but also I just really like this app so far.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themoviedb.org\/tv\/136311-shrinking?language=en-US\"><strong><em>Shrinking<\/em> season 2<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> One of my favorite shows of the last few years is back! If you haven\u2019t watched the first season of this show that is somehow both very bleak and very funny, you should. And then you should watch the second season immediately and tell me all your thoughts. I\u2019ll be ready.<\/li>\n<li class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup mb-16 pl-12 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nintendo.com%2Fus%2Fstore%2Fproducts%2Fsuper-mario-party-jamboree-switch%2F\"><em><strong>Super Mario Party Jamboree<\/strong><\/em><\/a><strong>. <\/strong>I think <em>Mario Party 64 <\/em>might be my all-time most-played video game. You got me, public-private tech partnerships. Sometimes you\u2019re good.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"duet--article--article-body-component\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paprikaapp.com\/\"><strong>Paprika<\/strong><\/a>: In an era of link rot and paywalls, this is the best service I\u2019ve found for opening a recipe on the internet, downloading a personal copy, and keeping it permanently on my phone for reference. (There\u2019s also a desktop version.) It\u2019s simple, no-nonsense, and includes a calendar for planning meals and an easy grocery list feature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"duet--article--article-body-component\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stash2go.com\/\"><strong>Stash2Go<\/strong><\/a>: I don\u2019t knit as much as I used to (infants and giant needles present some obvious problems), but I\u2019m an avid Ravelry user, and when I started knitting, this was the best third-party app I found. It maintains most of the site\u2019s powerful pattern search options while letting me upload pictures of my projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"duet--article--article-body-component\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/\"><strong>Bluesky<\/strong><\/a>: When Twitter\u2019s user base started splintering, I wasn\u2019t sure Bluesky would make it! But my initial choice, Mastodon, started feeling like a chore \u2014 I\u2019m happy for the people who love it and I hope it flourishes, my feed just filled up with one too many arguments over the ideological valence of search options and quote posts. At this point, some of my favorite Twitter communities (like tech policy Twitter) have migrated to Bluesky, and it\u2019s become a good way to keep up with what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"duet--article--article-body-component\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.librarything.com\/\"><strong>LibraryThing<\/strong><\/a>: With absolutely no disrespect to the creator of LibraryThing: I do not like LibraryThing. I do not like the complicated sorting and annotation features I never use.
