The scans found tumors in his shoulder, pelvis, hip, spine and rib.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2hon34u0008356m6gjpd55g@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cAs unnatural as it feels, this is nature. You know, we were all born and we all die, and this is just part of the process,\u201d he told The Sunday Times.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2hon34u0009356mxiephbr7@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cHand on heart, I\u2019m pretty positive most of the time and I have genuine happiness. This is bigger than the Olympics. It\u2019s bigger than anything. This is about appreciating life and finding joy,\u201d he added.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2hon34u000a356mcjtb5amg@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            In the interview, Hoy also revealed that his wife Sarra, with whom he shares two young children, was diagnosed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2019\/02\/27\/health\/multiple-sclerosis-explainer\/index.html\">multiple sclerosis<\/a> (MS) a month after he found that he had cancer.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2hoxopk0009356mknb72osw@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cIt\u2019s the closest I\u2019ve come to, like, you know, why me? Just, what? What\u2019s going on here? It didn\u2019t seem real. On Sunday, he posted a picture on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DBUmv3Eoj6_\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> of the BBC team there and wrote that he was \u201coverwhelmed\u201d by the \u201clove and support shown to my family and me.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2hon34u000f356mjn3fktbx@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cYou may see in the news this weekend some articles about my health, so I just wanted to reassure you all that I\u2019m feeling fit, strong and positive, and overwhelmed by all the love and support shown to my family and me. Chris is a British sporting legend. To face his diagnosis with such positivity is inspiring.
