However, public health experts warn\u00a0that there is still too little reliable data on the variant to be certain.<\/p>\n<p>The first case of the clade Ib mpox variant outside the African continent was confirmed <a class=\"internal-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/sweden-reports-first-mpox-clade-1-case-outside-africa\/a-69955272\">in Sweden in mid-August<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mpox symptoms include a typical rash and as well as possible\u00a0fever, headache and muscle pain.
