custom CPU in car chips, and partnering with Google on adding generative AI to that form factor.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-646461\"\/><\/p>\n<p>With this \u201cMulti-Year Strategic Collaboration,\u201d the two companies are working to offer a \u201cnew standardized reference platform for the development of cockpit solutions using generative artificial intelligence.\u201d As such, it will be easier for carmakers to leverage this platform for their vehicles.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGen AI-enabled in-car experiences\u201d include \u201cintuitive voice assistants, immersive map experiences, and Something more ambitious is your vehicle being aware of you\u2019re \u201cgetting drowsy and proactively suggests pulling over for a coffee at a nearby cafe.\u201d Other examples include telling you about interesting landmarks, the name of restaurants you drove by, and what a road sign that you just passed said.<\/p>\n<p>This will be built on Android Automotive OS, Google Cloud, and Qualcomm\u2019s Snapdragon Digital Chassis:\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cPre-integrated Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS) software and services to enable customizable and responsive voice user interfaces and real-time driver updates using Google generative AI leveraging edge optimizations through Snapdragon SoCs\u202f.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe framework enables Google Cloud hosted automotive software development to be optimized for Snapdragon platforms, increasing developer productivity while reducing time to market for AAOS platform and services.\u202f\u202f\u201c\u202f<\/li>\n<li>\u201cSnapdragon Connected Services Platform running on Google Cloud enables an API-driven connected services model and an upgradeable services infrastructure for onboard and offboard vehicle connectivity.\u202f\u201c<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<p>Meanwhile, Qualcomm\u2019s new Snapdragon Cockpit Elite and Snapdragon Ride Elite feature a CPU and GPU that offer 3x performance increases compared to previous generations.
