Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Winston has ascended to the starting role after Cleveland&#8217;s top two quarterbacks &#8212; <a data-player-guid=\"b6ec8e9e-3d85-a1de-9d0a-5a51621a9c20\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3122840\/deshaun-watson\">Deshaun Watson<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"0b1acff8-43dc-be7a-72af-9741d8608432\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4367178\/dorian-thompson-robinson\">Dorian Thompson-Robinson<\/a> &#8212; both suffered injuries in last Sunday&#8217;s loss to the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"75b8623b-8926-b411-0476-3d3602b78523\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/cin\/cincinnati-bengals\">Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Browns coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters earlier this week that he would not decide on a starting quarterback until he received a medical update on Thompson-Robinson, who injured a finger on his throwing hand after replacing Watson.<\/p>\n<p>Winston, a 10-year veteran, provides Cleveland with a more experienced option than Thompson-Robinson for Sunday&#8217;s game against the AFC North rival <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"38248455-3da4-84e4-8090-98b5cc38ffdc\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/bal\/baltimore-ravens\">Baltimore Ravens<\/a>. I&#8217;m here to serve.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fox Sports first reported Tuesday that Winston would start for the Browns, who once again face uncertainty at the quarterback position after Watson&#8217;s season-ending Achilles injury.<\/p>\n<p>Winston replaced Thompson-Robinson on Cleveland&#8217;s final series Sunday and orchestrated a 12-play drive punctuated with his touchdown pass to <a data-player-guid=\"792d89f8-09a7-3009-63cc-09f2df5f947d\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3123076\/david-njoku\">David Njoku<\/a>.
