According to Justin Rogers, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Justin_Rogers\/status\/1849137757974671729\">Williams is weighing his options to potentially appeal his suspension<\/a>, but until then, he has not officially been suspended and can remain active.<\/p>\n<p id=\"cetA7v\">On Wednesday, Lions coach Dan Campbell was peppered with questions about Williams, and while he was unable to answer any specifics, he made one thing very clear: this team has not lost faith nor trust in Williams despite this suspension\u2014his second in as many years. <\/p>\n<p id=\"ZrkogG\">\u201cI trust this kid. I trust him,\u201d Campbell said. \u201cUnfortunately, you\u2019ve got to pay for your sins. Something happens, and if this comes down, so be it. But I know this, we dangled a rope down on the way up. We can\u2019t wait for anybody. Over a year ago, he started climbing his way up, and he got to us. Maybe he lost his grip, but he\u2019ll climb back up again. That rope is still there. It\u2019s tied to us, and he\u2019ll be just fine. He\u2019s part of this team, and I trust him.\u201d <\/p>\n<p id=\"XdyfYx\">Where does that trust come from? Campbell says he\u2019s had enough one-on-one conversations with Williams to know that his mind is in the right place, and he\u2019s got the support system he needs. <\/p>\n<p id=\"hZjyAE\">\u201cHe\u2019s taken huge strides, he\u2019s made huge strides,\u201d Campbell said. \u201cI recognized that and I think the team recognizes that. So I think he\u2019s going to come back better than he was before.\u201d <\/p>\n<p id=\"s9g08p\">At this point, it\u2019s unclear if Williams will be active this week against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musiccitymiracles.com\/\">Tennessee Titans<\/a>. But Campbell noted that they\u2019ll be prepared either way, due to their deep bench of receivers that includes reserves Kalif Raymond and Allen Robinson. <\/p>\n<p id=\"Z5QqLY\">\u201cLeaf is really, he\u2019s really is one of our starters. He\u2019s a spot starter,\u201d Campbell said. \u201cWe use him enough. But I would tell you\u2014absolutely Leaf. Everyone\u2019s got the utmost trust in Leaf. He\u2019s been here since the beginning. The guy does everything right and he\u2019s smart, he\u2019s competitive, he\u2019s got speed. That\u2019s the other thing, this guy can run, let\u2019s not forget. But I would say, Allen Robinson. Man, we just went through the walkthrough, he\u2019s going to take on a heavy load here too. Talk about a pro, man.
