The film \u201cThe Christmas Quest\u201d premieres Dec. 1. <span class=\"credit\">Hallmark Channel<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cLacey\u2019s getting older and we have to find someone like her to replace her as she gets older,\u201d Daly allegedly said about the \u201cMean Girls\u201d actress who appeared in some of the channel\u2019s popular productions like \u201cThe Wedding Veil\u201d collection and \u201cA Royal Christmas.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The suit alleges Daly also dissed \u201c21 Jump Street\u201d star Peete who appeared in nearly a dozen holiday films.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo one wants her because she\u2019s too expensive and getting too old. She can\u2019t play leading roles anymore,\u201d Daly is accused of saying.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Holly Robinson Peete is not starring in any of Hallmarks\u2019 Countdown to Christmas films this year despite having leading roles in the past. <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9Hallmark Entertainment\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The suit claims Daly also reportedly wanted to find replacements for Elizabeth Mitchell, Catherine Bell, Alison Sweeney, Autumn Reeser, Kelly Martin, Nikki Deloach, Rachel Boston, Brennan Elliott, Cameron Mathieson, Paul Greene, Eric Close and Teri Hatcher.<\/p>\n<p>Former casting director Perry has over 450 casting credits and worked for Hallmark for nine years but filed the lawsuit after she claims she was unceremoniously fired because she was also too old and executives wanted to find \u201csomeone who knows more young talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Executive VP of Programming at Hallmark, Lisa Hamilton Daly, is accused of trying to replace \u201cold people\u201d as leads on the channel. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Hallmark Media<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to court documents, the fired casting boss, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and is legally blind in one eye, failed to have a feel-good happy ending at Hallmark because she was fired weeks after returning from heart surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Perry\u2019s suit also calls out Randy Pope, Senior Vice President, Programming and Development at Hallmark, for allegedly \u201ctormenting her regularly\u201d and Paul Hodgkinson, the Vice President, Human Resources, for taking part in what she claims was \u201cwrongful termination.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hallmark denied the allegations in the complaint and fired back in a statement.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Hallmark denied the allegations made against executives like Daly in the lawsuit.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Hallmark Media<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cLacey and Holly have a home at Hallmark.
