The union represents about 33,000 workers, but it did not disclose how many voted on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cThere\u2019s much more work to do. We will push to get back to the table, we will push for the members\u2019 demands as quickly as we can,\u201d said Jon Holden, president of District 751 of the union, which represents the vast majority of the workers and has led in the talks. He delivered that message at the union\u2019s Seattle headquarters to a room of members chanting, \u201cFight, fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"css-ew4tgv\" aria-label=\"companion column\"\/><\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"companionColumn-1\">\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Boeing declined to comment on the vote, which was a setback for the company\u2019s new chief executive, Kelly Ortberg, who is trying to restore its reputation and business with a strategy he <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/10\/23\/business\/boeing-earnings-strike-vote.html\" title=\"\">described in detail earlier on Wednesday<\/a>.
