Other than the chip upgrades, the new <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3XMClG6\">MacBook Pro<\/a> will be mostly the same \u2013 though the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3XMClG6\">base model MacBook Pro<\/a> will likely start with <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/08\/24\/m4-macs-16gb-ram\/\">16GB of RAM<\/a>. There should also be an additional Thunderbolt port on the new base model M4 MacBook Pro, up from two ports to three.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/09\/29\/m4-macbook-pro-leak\/\">packaging leaks<\/a>\u00a0and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/10\/06\/m4-macbook-pro-unboxing-benchmarks\/\">subsequent unboxing<\/a>, the cheapest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4f0mtY1\">14\u2033 MacBook Pro<\/a>\u00a0with the base M4 chip will also be coming in Space Black for the first time. Apple last updated the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4erwDko\">Mac mini<\/a> in January 2023, with M2 and M2 Pro chips. The last update brought the first <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4erwDko\">Mac mini<\/a> with a Pro chip, and we\u2019re expecting M4 and M4 Pro chips with the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4erwDko\">Mac mini<\/a> redesign in a few weeks, saying goodbye to the classic design.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-m3-imac\">M3 iMac<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019re also expecting a new refresh to the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3N3Gr7V\">iMac<\/a> this month, bumping up from the M3 chip to the M4 chip.
