In a police report, she said Brown repeatedly punched her with his fist, choked her until she was nearly unconscious and threatened to \u201ckill\u201d her. Domestic violence experts in the doc explained how when people grow up witnessing abuse, as Brown and Rihanna both said they did, it makes it harder to end patterns of abuse.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary details how <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/complete-history-chris-browns-legal-210000431.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Brown\u2019s abuse allegedly continued;cpos:4;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">Brown\u2019s abuse allegedly continued<\/a>. Tran, his girlfriend off and on from 2010 to 2015, was granted a five-year restraining order against him. The model claimed he punched her in the stomach twice, pushed her down a flight of stairs, threatened to kill her and threatened her friends.<\/p>\n<p>Brown also smashed his mother\u2019s car windows with a rock while in rehab for anger management, and broke a window on the set of <em>Good Morning America<\/em>. He fought with Drake and Frank Ocean. His former manager, Michael Guirguis, known as Mike G, sued him for assault, false imprisonment and battery. Brown was found guilty of breaking a man\u2019s nose without provocation. Over the summer, he was <a data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/chris-brown-hit-50-million-043535574.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:sued for allegedly brutally beating;cpos:5;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">sued for allegedly brutally beating<\/a> several men, with the help of his entourage, at one of his concerts in Texas.<\/p>\n<p>There have been multiple sexual assault allegations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"caas-iframe-wrapper\" data-embed-anchor=\"9f375e13-e41f-5fe5-9249-5216f31e2c71\">\n<div class=\"caas-iframe youtube\" style=\"padding-bottom:56%\" data-type=\"youtube\">\n<blockquote data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pcWXDceGAcI?rel=0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" scrolling=\"no\"><p><noscript><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chris Brown: A History of Violence | Rehab Center Clip | ID\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pcWXDceGAcI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Freddy Sayegh, a criminal defense and entertainment attorney, said in the doc, \u201cI looked at most of his criminal history, and he&#8217;s got a 15-year history of nearly every year of his life being involved in reported violence of some sort.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The doc explores how, despite this long list of serious claims, Brown \u2014 who has been <a data-i13n=\"cpos:6;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/revelations-from-chris-browns-latest-profile-183922451.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:diagnosed with bipolar disorder;cpos:6;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">diagnosed with bipolar disorder<\/a> and post-traumatic stress disorder, court records showed \u2014 has maintained his superstar status. One year after Rihanna\u2019s assault, BET tapped Brown for a big Michael Jackson tribute. As he kicked off his &#8220;11:11 Tour&#8221; in June of this year, he joked to the sold-out crowd about attempts to have him <a data-i13n=\"cpos:7;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hot97.com\/news\/chris-brown-laughs-off-blackballed-claims-at-sold-out-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:\u201cblackballed.;cpos:7;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">\u201cblackballed.<\/a>\u201d Brown remains popular with fans and is the second-most followed male artist on Instagram.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"caas-jump-link-heading\" id=\"woman-who-accused-brown-of-raping-her-on-combss-yacht-appears-in-doc\">Woman who accused Brown of raping her on Combs&#8217;s yacht appears in doc<\/h2>\n<p>A Jane Doe appears in the documentary to claim Brown <a data-i13n=\"cpos:8;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/woman-accuses-chris-brown-raping-033403969.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:drugged and raped her;cpos:8;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">drugged and raped her<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>She said she received \u201cdeath threats\u201d after suing Brown in 2022 \u2014 the case was dismissed &#8220;without prejudice\u201d \u2014 but she was speaking out to \u201cshed light on what really happened.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Doe said she was an aspiring dancer who just moved to Los Angeles. On a trip to Miami, a friend invited her to Combs\u2019s home on Star Island. That day, she met Combs \u2014 who is <a data-i13n=\"cpos:9;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/sean-diddy-combs-denied-bail-ordered-detained-until-trial-indictment-alleges-freak-offs-guns-arson-and-other-shocking-allegations-181643288.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:currently incarcerated ahead of his sex trafficking trial;cpos:9;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">currently incarcerated ahead of his sex trafficking trial<\/a> \u2014 and Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Doe said Brown was nice and friendly initially. She hoped connecting with him would boost her aspiring dance career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had talked, and he had handed me a drink,\u201d she said. \u201cThis is when my memory starts getting a little bit weird\u201d because her body suddenly became heavy and she started to feel tired.<\/p>\n<p>Doe said Brown offered to give her a yacht tour, but she claimed he led her to a bedroom and raped her as she said \u201cno.\u201d She claimed he texted her after to tell her to take Plan B, the morning-after pill.<\/p>\n<p>Doe said she continued to speak to Brown after the alleged incident, but processing it through therapy led her to realize it was a sexual assault. She sued Brown for $20 million in 2022, but<a data-i13n=\"cpos:10;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/video\/chris-brown-shares-alleged-audio-011742397.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:texts and voice texts;cpos:10;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\"> texts and voice texts<\/a> she sent Brown after the alleged rape surfaced, leading her attorneys to think she wasn\u2019t forthcoming with all the information. They dropped her as a client. Shortly after, a judge dismissed the case, citing &#8220;lack of prosecution.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One of Doe\u2019s attorneys, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, appeared in the doc. Mitchell-Kidd has since said she\u2019s representing her again, telling <a data-i13n=\"cpos:11;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/woman-accuses-chris-brown-raping-033403969.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:People;cpos:11;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">People<\/a>, \u201cI believe what happened to her is 100% true. I feel that I failed her as an attorney because I couldn\u2019t make her comfortable enough with me in such a short period of time where she felt 100% comfortable being forthcoming with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the documentary, Brown&#8217;s attorneys said Doe&#8217;s claims were fabricated. A rep for Brown has not responded to Yahoo\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>An attorney for Combs declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p>A woman named Liziane Gutierrez also appears in the documentary and alleges that Brown gave her a black eye in 2016. She claimed she was invited to his hotel room in Las Vegas for a party, where cocaine, pills and marijuana were present, and she took a photo that allegedly angered Brown. She sued Brown for assault and they settled the case.<\/p>\n<p>The doc also revisits Brown being detained in Paris in 2019 on an alleged aggravated rape and drug infraction. The probe was later dropped, and Brown \u2014 who maintained his innocence \u2014 sued the woman for defamation.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a 2017 allegation in which a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted at Brown\u2019s home, though not by Brown. The accuser claimed her phone was taken, she was given drugs and barricaded in a room where she was sexually assaulted. She sued Brown for creating an unsafe environment. The case was settled out of court.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"caas-jump-link-heading\" id=\"look-how-long-it-took-for-r-kelly-to-fall\">&#8216;Look how long it took for R. Kelly to fall&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p>The doc uses domestic violence experts and statistics to examine Brown\u2019s lengthy list of troubles. It also points to how there were whispers and allegations about Combs and R. Kelly for years before they faced serious criminal allegations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook how long it took for R. Kelly to fall,\u201d Mitchell-Kidd said in the doc. \u201cIt wasn&#8217;t good enough that we had video of him\u201d with a<a data-i13n=\"cpos:12;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/accuser-star-witness-testifies-r-173419795.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:14-year-old minor;cpos:12;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\"> 14-year-old minor<\/a> at his 2008 child pornography trial. \u201cThat wasn&#8217;t going to do it. It took things like a docuseries, [<em>Surviving R. Kelly<\/em>]. It took the power of the media,\u201d she said. (Kelly was found guilty of eight counts of sex trafficking in 2022.
