It\u2019s not a sure thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rasmussen noted the latest swing-state polls fall within the margin of error. He also warned that unknown factors\u2014such as an Election Day blizzard in Wisconsin\u2014could change Trump\u2019s trajectory.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the full interview with Rasmussen the latest episode of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/podcasts\/\">The Daily Signal Podcast.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rasmussen\u2019s polls are available from the <a href=\"https:\/\/napolitaninstitute.org\/napolitan-news-service\/\">Napolitan News Service<\/a>, an organization he founded this year. In addition to looking at the contested political races, Rasmussen is also keeping tabs on the issues that motivate voters, namely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/tag\/economy\/\">the economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now, people tend to think their personal finances are getting worse and people in the swing states are even more pessimistic,\u201d Rasmussen said. \u201cThat\u2019s hurting Vice President Harris.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For example, only 24% of voters say their personal finances are improving, according to RMG Research\u2019s polling. Conversely, 41% say their personal finances are worse. Relatedly, 37% say they are better off than they were four years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople\u2019s perception of whether their personal finances are improving is the single most important indicator of how they will vote,\u201d Rasmussen said.<\/p>\n<p>Given the political divide in our country, Rasmussen said Americans should prepare for a close election\u2014and for the losing side to reject the outcome.
