It\u2019s regarded as a landmark in his musical odyssey and a source of inspiration for a generation of artists and musicians. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen\u2019s New Jersey bedroom and without The E Street Band, \u2018Nebraska\u2019 is considered one of Springsteen\u2019s most enduring works \u2014 a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBeyond Allen White, the cast includes Stephen Graham as Springsteen\u2019s dad, Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan and Odessa Young, who is rumored to play a love interest. In May, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/film\/columns\/jeremy-strong-bruce-springsteen-movie-jon-landau-jeremy-allen-white-1235995980\/\"><em>Variety<\/em> reported<\/a> that Jeremy Strong is also in talks to play Jon Landau, Springsteen\u2019s longtime manager. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cBeginning production on this film is an incredibly humbling and thrilling journey,\u201d Cooper said in a statement. \u201cBruce Springsteen\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Nebraska\u2019\u00a0has profoundly shaped my artistic vision. The album\u2019s raw, unvarnished portrayal of life\u2019s trials and resilience resonates deeply with me. Our film aims to capture that same spirit, bringing Warren Zanes\u2019 compelling narrative of Bruce\u2019s life to the screen with authenticity and hope, honoring Bruce\u2019s legacy in a transformative cinematic experience. It has been a great pleasure to collaborate with Bruce and Jon [Landau] as I tell their story, and their creative energy fuels every part of this journey. As well, I\u2019m excited to reunite with my friend, David Greenbaum [president, Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios], as he embarks on his new role at Disney, adding another layer of inspiration to this project.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tFrom Disney\u2019s 20th Century Studios, \u201cDeliver Me From Nowhere\u201d is produced by Cooper with the Gotham Group\u2019s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein (\u201cThe Maze Runner\u201d trilogy, \u201cJuror No. 2\u201d) and Eric Robinson (\u201cKodachrome,\u201d \u201cLast Days\u201d), who developed the project with Cooper. Scott Stuber (\u201cFrankenstein,\u201d \u201cTed\u201d) also produces.
