The former president did not wait for the results of the York and Lancaster county investigations before stoking fears on social media about allegedly fraudulent voter registration applications, even as Pennsylvania\u2019s secretary of state asked the public for patience. And, in a separate instance, the RNC joined the Trump campaign in pushing claims of \u201cvoter suppression,\u201d as election officials in\u00a0the critical battleground\u00a0pushed back.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000a3b5w6f7tfdbc@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cWow! York County, Pennsylvania, received THOUSANDS of potentially FRUADULENT Voter Registration Forms and Mail-In Ballot Applications from a third party group,\u201d\u00a0Trump\u00a0wrote\u00a0Tuesday in a post on X that received over 1 million views in just a few hours.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000b3b5wrv2zldy4@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cThis on top of Lancaster County being caught with 2600 Fake Ballots and Forms, all written by the same person. Really bad\u00a0\u2018stuff.\u2019\u00a0WHAT IS GOING ON IN PENNSYLVANIA??? Law Enforcement must do their job, immediately!!! WOW!!!\u201d he<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>continued.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000c3b5wrumek4ia@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Trump and\u00a0RNC officials\u00a0have increasingly floated claims about potential issues with mail-in ballots\u00a0in\u00a0Pennsylvania\u00a0in the lead-up to November 5, as the former president\u2019s\u00a0allies also target mail-in ballots in court.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000d3b5w2d4e5ao1@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            State and county officials, meanwhile, have sought to reassure voters that they are investigating any alleged issues with the mail-in ballot process and that they are seeking to protect the integrity of the election process at this early stage.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v9d3az002k3b5wbxkyz2qu@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro told CNN\u2019s Kaitlan Collins on \u201cThe Source\u201d Tuesday night that the allegations are \u201cmore of the same\u201d from Trump, adding that as the state\u2019s attorney general he defeated 43 challenges to the 2020 vote count from the former president \u201cand his allies.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v9duxg002n3b5wqop8fnjb@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cI understand that Donald Trump wants to again use the same playbook where he tries to create chaos and stoke division and fear about our system. But again, we will have a free and fair, safe, and secure election in Pennsylvania, and the will of the people will be respected and protected,\u201d Shapiro added.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v552jx000s3b5waxl1dxb1@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Last week, law enforcement and election officials in Lancaster County announced they had identified \u201cincidents of suspected voter registration fraud.\u201d\u00a0The\u00a0suspected\u00a0fraud, according to the\u00a0bipartisan\u00a0board of\u00a0elections\u00a0and the county\u2019s\u00a0district\u00a0attorney,\u00a0likely stemmed\u00a0from\u00a0\u201ca large-scale canvassing operation\u201d that submitted registration applications with duplicate handwriting\u00a0and inaccurate or unverifiable addresses.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000g3b5whubzple0@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            The officials said \u201capproximately 2,500 voter registration forms have been contained and segregated\u201d to be reviewed and investigated but did not say how many of those\u00a0have been\u00a0found to be fraudulent.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000i3b5woxn94rax@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            While announcing\u00a0the\u00a0suspected fraud,\u00a0Lancaster officials said at least two other counties may have\u00a0also\u00a0received fraudulent voter registration applications.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000j3b5wcfen3sam@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            On Tuesday,\u00a0York County spokesperson Greg Monskie\u00a0would not confirm to CNN whether it had received fraudulent voter registration applications and couldn\u2019t speak to any connection with the issues alleged in Lancaster County.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000k3b5wbk1x62xn@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            In a statement, York County President Commissioner Julie Wheeler said the county had received a \u201clarge\u00a0delivery\u00a0containing thousands of election-related materials from a third-party organization,\u201d and that \u201cthose material appear to include completed voter registration forms, as well as mail-in ballot applications.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000h3b5wus6lz6j3@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            CNN\u00a0has\u00a0reached out to the Lancaster County Board of Elections for an update\u00a0following\u00a0Trump\u2019s latest claims.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000m3b5wlpl2kriw@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cAs with all submissions, our staff follows a process for ensuring all voter registrations and mail-in ballot requests are legal. That process is currently underway,\u201d Wheeler said. \u201cIf suspected fraud is identified, we will alert the District Attorney\u2019s Office, which will then conduct an investigation.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000n3b5w7xlwvcd8@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Pennsylvania\u00a0Secretary of State Al Schmidt, a Republican, acknowledged the ongoing investigations in York and Lancaster in a video briefing Tuesday.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v54ke9000o3b5wcmknag7i@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cThe department has been in touch with these counties from the very beginning to provide guidance to them as they conduct their investigations and will continue to support them as needed,\u201d he said.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v4xi7800003b5w2t7m7p6m@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            In\u00a0Delaware County,\u00a0officials\u00a0are pushing back on\u00a0earlier\u00a0claims from the Trump campaign and the\u00a0RNC\u00a0that\u00a0\u201cvoter suppression\u201d\u00a0occurred after an incident Monday at a local polling site where county officials say a woman was removed because she was \u201cdisruptive, belligerent, and attempting to influence voters waiting in line.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v5do4l000y3b5wjcl6fjdn@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            RNC Chairman Michael Whatley\u00a0shared a video of the woman in handcuffs on X, claiming that\u00a0\u201ca supporter of President Trump\u2019s was arrested today for encouraging people to stay in the early voting line and cast their ballots freely in Pennsylvania.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v85x5b001r3b5w6nxrntdz@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cThis is voter suppression from the left. Don\u2019t let them turn you away,\u201d\u00a0he wrote.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v85x5b001s3b5wb41iwmu3@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            The Trump campaign later amplified the incident in a press release.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v5do4l000z3b5wf6pwmk5g@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            The interaction took place at the Voter Service Center in Media, Pennsylvania, the seat of the suburban Philadelphia county.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v5do4l00103b5wj3w57mzw@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            According to a statement from a county spokesperson, a woman was arrested and removed from the building after she, \u201caccording to multiple eyewitnesses, was disruptive, belligerent, and attempting to influence voters waiting in line.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v5do4l00113b5w0gjlous3@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cHer behavior prompted several complaints from those in line. Delaware County Park Police \u2014 who provide security for the Government Center Building \u2014 were on-site and responded promptly to the disturbance,\u201d the statement continued.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v5do4l00123b5wsqbz9922@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Val Biancaniello, the woman who was detained, appears to be one of the GOP certified electors this cycle, according to the Pennsylvania Department of State.\u00a0CNN has reached out to Biancaniello for comment.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm2v5do4l00133b5wqwkxqftl@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            After the incident, Biancaniello posted on X, \u201cThey arrested me and I didn\u2019t break any laws.
