He started seven of the Jaguars\u2019 eight games in 2024, and 91 games over his career.<\/p>\n<h2>What does Robinson provide in Darrisaw\u2019s absence?<\/h2>\n<p>In the words of one AFC executive, Robinson is \u201can adequate starter.\u201d The Vikings had an elite one in Darrisaw, and had they not completed this acquisition, they would have had subpar options whether they turned to backup <a class=\"ath_autolink\" data-id=\"FFR6R4YjYVM7buSU\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/nfl\/player\/david-quessenberry-FFR6R4YjYVM7buSU\/\">David Quessenberry<\/a> or shifted <a class=\"ath_autolink\" data-id=\"5Czg4xUa9AXp0JcP\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/nfl\/player\/blake-brandel-5Czg4xUa9AXp0JcP\/\">Blake Brandel<\/a> out to left tackle.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson is a free agent after this season, so Minnesota snagged him as a half-season rental capable of ensuring the left side of the offensive line does not torpedo Minnesota\u2019s offense. By no means is Robinson an elite player. Among 62 qualified tackles, he ranks in the back-half in pressures allowed. Pro Football Focus has dinged him for allowing four sacks on the season, but the Jaguars\u2019 disjointed offense is important context to note in these metrics.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson is also classified as a solid \u2014 but not exceptional \u2014 run-blocker.<\/p>\n<p>Another factor in this move is what Robinson may want to prove considering he is an impending free agent after this season.
