But hardware revenues again declined, down 29 percent this quarter, which may be influenced by Microsoft\u2019s continued strategy to make its games available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/24073286\/xbox-console-exclusivity-hardware-update-game-pass\">more widely than just Xbox consoles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">During the quarter, Microsoft introduced its new Xbox Game Pass \u201cStandard\u201d tier and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/7\/9\/24195312\/microsoft-xbox-game-pass-ultimate-price-increase-standard-subscription\">price hike<\/a> for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Q1 also saw the arrival of <em>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/7\/23\/24195537\/call-of-duty-xbox-game-pass-modern-warfare-3\">on Xbox Game Pass<\/a>, but this quarter doesn\u2019t include the impact of <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops 6<\/em>, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/6\/9\/24173669\/call-of-duty-black-ops-6-release-date-october-25th\">launched last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">The company\u2019s Intelligent Cloud division was also a bright spot, with total revenues up 20 percent year over year to $24.1 billion driven by Azure. Azure and other cloud services revenue was up 33 percent, \u201cincluding 12 points\u201d from demand for its AI services. Productivity and Business Processes, which includes its Office products, was up 12 percent year over year to $28.3 billion in revenues. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">Microsoft\u2019s OEM and Devices revenue \u2014 which are now reported together \u2014 were up 2 percent.
