Nintendo just revealed a new app, and it&#8217;s all about the music of its games.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Fittingly titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.com\/us\/switch\/online\/nintendo-switch-online\/nintendo-music\/\" class=\"link jsx-1337145738 jsx-3925284146 underlined\" data-cy=\"styled-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nintendo Music<\/a>, the new app will stream songs from nearly 40 years of Nintendo history, and will be made available on smart devices today. In fact, it&#8217;s already <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/nintendo-music\/id6466376604\" class=\"link jsx-1337145738 jsx-3925284146 underlined\" data-cy=\"styled-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">available on iOS<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.nintendo.znba&amp;hl=en_CA\" class=\"link jsx-1337145738 jsx-3925284146 underlined\" data-cy=\"styled-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">and Android<\/a>. Among the franchises whose music are included on the app are Super Mario, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, and more.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Some of the features, as outlined in Nintendo&#8217;s launch trailer and press release:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list jsx-4224303756\" data-cy=\"list\">\n<li>Songs can be streamed online or downloaded for offline listening<\/li>\n<li>Songs will be organized by game, in addition to curated playlists<\/li>\n<li>Users will be able to curate their own playlists<\/li>\n<li>Recommendations based on your Nintendo Switch play history<\/li>\n<li>A &#8220;spoiler prevention&#8221; filter, allowing you to hide songs from certain games<\/li>\n<li>The ability to extend the length of certain songs by 15, 30, or 60 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">More music, Nintendo says, will be added over time. Currently, there&#8217;s no (legal) way to stream all of Nintendo&#8217;s classic songs on one place, so it&#8217;s a pretty big surprise for fans.
