The center is a key part of the Biden administration\u2019s efforts to revitalize American high-tech manufacturing and lessen the country\u2019s dependence on foreign sources of technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">The New York site will focus on research into the complex machinery that is necessary to manufacture chips.
