Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of Iran\u2019s Revolutionary Guards Corps, <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mehrnews.com\/news\/6274847\/%D8%B3%D8%B1%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%B1-%D9%81%D8%AF%D9%88%DB%8C-%D9%BE%D8%A7%D8%B3%D8%AE-%D8%A7%DB%8C%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%86-%D8%A8%D9%87-%D8%AA%D8%AC%D8%A7%D9%88%D8%B2-%D8%B1%DA%98%DB%8C%D9%85-%D8%B5%D9%87%DB%8C%D9%88%D9%86%DB%8C%D8%B3%D8%AA%DB%8C-%D8%AD%D8%AA%D9%85%DB%8C-%D8%A7%D8%B3%D8%AA\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">according to Iranian media.<\/a> \u201cWe have never left an aggression unanswered in 40 years. We are capable of destroying all that the Zionists possess with one operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">General Fadavi\u2019s remarks, made to Lebanon\u2019s Al Mayadeen television station, were the first statement from an Iranian official indicating that Iran intended to retaliate to <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/live\/2024\/10\/25\/world\/israel-lebanon-gaza-iran\" title=\"\">Israel\u2019s Oct. 26 strikes on its soil<\/a>.
