This is the third patch to arrive since last weekend\u2019s release and adds a host of tweaks and fixes for glitches big and small. Although the update largely focuses on Multiplayer and Zombies, it also includes a trio of universal touch-ups, including the removal of that pesky black screen glitch that has bothered players when trying to load into a match.<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"box-wrapper jsx-2673806401\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"jsx-313219616\"><a href=\"https:\/\/assets-prd.ignimgs.com\/2024\/09\/09\/codblops6-1725926226920.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"undefined\" src=\"https:\/\/assets-prd.ignimgs.com\/2024\/09\/09\/codblops6-1725926226920.jpg?width=1280&amp;fit=bounds&amp;height=720&amp;quality=20&amp;dpr=0.05\" data-cy=\"progressive-image\" class=\"jsx-2920405963 progressive-image article-image article-image-full-size jsx-1809694635 jsx-2338608387 loading\"\/><\/a><figcaption data-cy=\"caption\" class=\"caption jsx-1762799490 jsx-479945570 article-image-caption\">Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 update brings fixes for Multiplayer and Zombies.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><\/output><\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Black Ops 6 Multiplayer adjustments include the removal of Lowtown from the Infected map pool while adding the same mode to Private Match\u2019s list of available modes. Players will now find that the Shotgun Slug attachment deals the correct amount of damage, too. Stability improvements have also arrived to address hiccups revolving around the UAV Scorestreak, Infected medals, and the Vigilance Perk.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">It\u2019s typical for some players to take advantage of map exploits shortly after launch, and it\u2019s also typical for the team at Activision to move quickly when squashing these exploits. Today\u2019s update is no different, as it comes with a few patched exploits in the Zombies mode. Specifically, enjoyers of the round-based game mode will no longer be able to re-activate timed GobbleGums for extra use. Additionally, the Tactical Raft can no longer be used to block zombie paths on Terminus.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Black Ops 6 launched last Friday and has already positioned itself as one of the most successful Call of Duty games of all time. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the release was <a class=\"link jsx-1337145738 jsx-3925284146 underlined\" data-cy=\"styled-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/call-of-duty-black-ops-6-biggest-call-of-duty-launch-ever-sets-new-single-day-game-pass-sub-record\"><u>the series\u2019 biggest launch ever<\/u><\/a> earlier this week. Call of Duty GM Matt Cox added, \u201cBlack Ops 6 is an amazing game, and the response from the Call of Duty community has been incredible.
