That said, this new release is taking the mick somewhat.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">When we say new, we\u2019d like to add a caveat that it may not be new to you specifically. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\"><a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gamingbible.com\/red-dead-redemption\"><em>Red Dead Redemption<\/em><\/a> and <em>Undead Nightmare <\/em>have finally been released on <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gamingbible.com\/pc\">PC<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\"><strong>It&#8217;s time to play <em>Red Dead Redemption<\/em> on your PC. Oh, happy days!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">It should be a time of celebration, yet the cost of this PC release has infuriated fans. And in an unusual turn of events, we agree with their ire.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">This version of the original game and its scary expansion will set you back $49.99, yet <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gamingbible.com\/red-dead-redemption-2\"><em>Red Dead Redemption 2<\/em><\/a> will only cost you $34.99. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Divisive pricing isn\u2019t at all surprising given Rockstar Games\u2019 parent company\u2019s past opinions on such matters. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Nevertheless, some fans can\u2019t let this go.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">\u201cAll they did was completely convert the game to run on modern platforms and add new features that the game didn\u2019t originally support like graphics settings and upscalers!  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">\u201cThe game should be free! I\u2019m entitled to entertainment no matter the cost of production!\u201d <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/reddeadredemption\/comments\/1ge6171\/are_you_kidding_me\/\">argued<\/a> Redditor gamemaster257. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Another fan joked, \u201cL-leave the multi-million dollar company alone!\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Despite plenty of players being annoyed by this interesting choice, there are some who don\u2019t think it\u2019s that big an issue.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">\u201cGamers always find something to complain about. It&#8217;s more expensive cause they just ported it to the PC. If you want a cheaper copy, buy it on console. What&#8217;s so hard to understand? Don&#8217;t like the price, wait for a sale. Shut up about it,\u201d reads one post. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">But should we really have to pay more for such an old game? That\u2019s arguably the main reason people are upset.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Obviously, you don\u2019t have to buy <em>RDR<\/em>.
