business.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The company said the COVID-19 pandemic was the \u201cprimary driver of our financial challenges\u201d and that the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process will allow it to dining establishments to close or pivot their business models, and many struggled to recover. Since then, the company has quietly shut down dozens more.<\/p>\n<p>The bankruptcy affects TGI Fridays\u2019 parent company, which operates 39 restaurants, and not its other locations which are run by franchisees.
